A major winter storm is on the way and Southlake officials are reminding residents to remember the 4 P’s: People, pets, plants and pipes. Meanwhile, Carroll ISD has canceled school on Thursday and Friday.
Here’s what Southlake residents should know in order to stay safe in the next 48 hours, as the Winter Storm Warning goes into effect.
All city offices, including The Marq Champions Club and Legends Hall, the Senior Activity Center, the Southlake Library, the Bob Jones Nature Center and the Tennis Center, will be closed Feb. 3.
Trash and recycling services for Thursday are canceled.
The following meetings and events have been canceled:
- Recreation and athletic programs, Feb. 2-3
- City Council Winter Workshop, Feb. 2
- AARP Tax-Aide, Thursday, Feb. 3
- Planning and Zoning and Sign Meeting Feb. 3
- Southlake Sister Cities Meeting, Feb. 3
- Southlake Spring Festival and Lantern Walk, Feb. 5
