Heather Rae El Moussa recently shared how her Friday nights have drastically changed since she became a mother.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, July 18, the 37-year-old American model posted a reel to reflect on her life before motherhood, celebrating “Flashback Friday.”
For those unfamiliar, Heather shares a 2-year-old son, Tristan Jay El Moussa, with her husband, Tarek El Moussa. She is also a stepmother to Taylor Reese El Moussa, 14, and Brayden James El Moussa, 9, from her husband’s previous marriage to Christina Haack.
In the reel, the HGTV star presented a “before-and-after” clip to illustrate the shift in her routine. The video began with a clip of her and friends enjoying a lively party, enhanced with a butterfly filter, as she playfully made a “kissy face” at the camera.
Heather added a caption to the video, which then transitioned to moments of her and her son cheering and enjoying snacks, while she sipped on some wine.
“Friday nights before kids. Friday nights now …” the mother of three wrote.
Heather Rae El Moussa’s caption further elaborated: “Friday nights used to mean heels, dinner reservations, and another round of drinks… Now it’s PJs by 7, a toddler dance party, and negotiating over bedtime snacks. [emojis] Wouldn’t trade it for anything. #MomLife #FridayNightsNow.”
