In Harris County, authorities are actively seeking a suspect who shot at an employee of Spring ISD near an elementary school on Tuesday morning. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in the 16000 block of Sugar Pine Drive, close to Major Elementary School.
The 58-year-old victim reported that while driving in the 15600 block of Silver Ridge, she observed a man jogging down the street wearing a light gray hoodie and khaki pants. As she passed by, she heard a gunshot, realizing that the man had fired at her vehicle. Fleeing the scene, she heard four to five more shots, resulting in damage to her vehicle’s back window, trunk handle, and a flat tire.
Fortunately, the victim escaped injury, but the incident has raised concerns in the community, prompting a search for the suspect.
