He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, where he held several key positions in the student government, including Chairman of the Student Affairs Committee and General Secretary. He later obtained his Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating Cum Laude, and was an active member of the National Security and Armed Conflict Law Review.
Most recently, Haroon completed a Health Care Strategy certificate program from Harvard University, focusing on aligning business strategy with the complex challenges and structures of the health care industry.
Professionally, Haroon has worked with several prominent law firms, including Thompson Coe, Clark Hill Law, and currently serves as Senior Counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright, one of the world’s leading international law firms.

Haroon Hashmi is the youngest son of Dr. Hassan Hashmi, a well-known Republican leader in the Dallas health care business community, and Salma Hashmi, the former Mayor of Wesley Chapel, Florida.
