Karachi, Pakistan – Escalating the intensity of the political discourse, Senator Faisal Vawda issued a stern warning to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that if the party does not accept the ‘Minus One’ formula, the entire party will be ‘minused’ (removed) from the political arena. He asserted that tolerance has reached its limit and now, “a double reaction will follow every action.”
Speaking on Geo News programme ‘Naya Pakistan,’ Faisal Vawda claimed that PTI’s popularity has waned and that a new phase of progress and stability will commence in the country starting Monday. He criticized PTI leaders, alleging they are fighting a “war for power and money” and lack genuine love for the nation, viewing the entire political dispute as an internal struggle among politicians.
Senator Vawda made it clear that there would be no more flexibility in the government’s approach. “Not an inch more will be tolerated now; they will be crushed,” he warned. He demanded that PTI accept ‘Minus One’ and go home, suggesting that they have only been allowed to continue this far due to previous tolerance. He also introduced a derogatory political phrase in his heated rhetoric.
Touching upon the founder of PTI, Senator Vawda raised a crucial point. He claimed that the founder’s sisters inadvertently revealed a weakness that the government was unaware of. According to Vawda, the founder becomes “frustrated” if no one meets him.
He concluded his statement by suggesting that the recent press conference by the DG ISPR has already led to many individuals surrendering, signaling that the process of political change is gaining momentum.
