HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Bush Intercontinental Airport implemented a ground stop on Saturday afternoon due to incoming thunderstorms.
The ground stop, in effect from 3:37 p.m. to 5 p.m., affected passengers scheduled to arrive during that period.
According to Weather Team, Tropical Storm Beryl is expected to make landfall on the Texas coast on Monday as a Category 1 hurricane, with significant impacts anticipated in southeast Texas.
