Dallas: A grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering was organized at Texas King Irving by Ali Khawar, drawing a large crowd of men, women, and families from across the community. The spiritually charged event was beautifully arranged, with an atmosphere filled with the recitation of naats and darood-o-salaam, creating a sense of reverence and devotion throughout the venue.
The evening commenced with renowned naat khawan Arsalan Rabbani, whose captivating and soulful recitation deeply moved the audience, bringing a spiritual serenity to the gathering. The venue echoed with voices of praise and reverence as Imtiaz Jan, Chaudhry Zaman Brothers, and other naat khawansalso paid homage to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through heartfelt recitations.

Guest of honor and keynote speaker Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi delivered an inspiring address on the significance of the Prophet’s birth and the importance of celebrating Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. Quoting the Quran, he said, “Allah has declared in the Holy Quran that We have sent Our Prophet as a mercy to all the worlds. Celebrating Milad is a profound expression of love and devotion by the followers of the Prophet ﷺ.”
He praised Ali Khawar for organizing this spiritual event annually with great devotion and remarked that the love and participation of the community illuminate the gathering even further. Naeemi also highlighted the double standards of those who object to Milad celebrations yet enthusiastically celebrate non-Islamic festivals such as Christmas.

In recounting a moving spiritual anecdote, Allama Naeemi shared the story of Shah Waliullah’s father, Shah Rahim. Once, due to financial hardship, Shah Rahim was unable to host a grand celebration. Instead, with the little money he had, he bought roasted chickpeas and placed them on plates, humbly celebrating Milad. That night, he dreamt of the Prophet ﷺ and saw the very chickpeas placed before the Prophet, signifying the acceptance of his sincere devotion.
Allama Naeemi further emphasized that every prophet acknowledged the message of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and this is confirmed in the third paraof the Quran. He added, “Allah revealed the Quran, but it was the Prophet ﷺwho explained its teachings, what prayer and charity truly mean, and delivered both the Book and wisdom to mankind.”

He also noted that a seal of prophethood was present on the Prophet’s blessed back, which a Jewish scholar had seen with his own eyes, as it was mentioned in their scriptures.
The event concluded with a collective prayer for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
Prominent figures from the Pakistan Society and the local community were also in attendance, including Abid Malik, Attorney Naeem Sukhia, Barkat Basria, Dr. Riaz Haider, Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, Abid Baig, and Minhaj Bashir, Kamal Siddiqui.
