HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — With the high moisture in place, areas of dense fog is developing along some of our coastal areas Monday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in place until 9 a.m. for Chambers, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Galveston Island and Bolivar Peninsula Counties.
The fog should burn off by mid morning leaving us with partly sunny skies. An isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out but chances will be very slim. Highs should top out in the mid 80s.
What can I expect for my work week?
Overall, it looks like a pleasant week with temperatures warming into the low to mid 80s each day and mostly dry conditions. We could see our next cold front move in on Friday which should cool us down just in time for next weekend.
