The price of gold in Pakistan continued its upward trend on Monday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs200, reaching an all-time high of Rs292,400, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs171, bringing it to Rs250,685.
In the international market, the price of gold also saw a rise of $2 on Monday, reaching $2,799 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
However, the price of 24-karat silver in the local market decreased by Rs5, settling at Rs3,265 per tola.
