Gold Price in International Market Hits $2,772 per Ounce
The price of gold in Pakistan broke all previous records and reached its highest-ever level on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs2,900, settling at an all-time high of Rs289,600, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by Rs2,486, taking it to Rs248,285.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a massive increase of $29 on Friday, reaching $2,772 per ounce with an additional $20 premium.
The price of silver in the local market increased by Rs31, reaching Rs3,432 per tola.
