On Saturday, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs200 and was sold at Rs289,400 per tola, down from Rs289,600 on the previous trading day, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold also fell by Rs172, from Rs284,285 to Rs284,113, while the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold increased slightly from Rs227,445 to Rs227,603.
Silver prices also saw a decline, with the price of per tola silver dropping by Rs32 to Rs3,409, and the price of 10 grams of silver going down by Rs20 to Rs2,922.
The international gold price decreased by $2, dropping from $2,772 to $2,770, the association added.
