However, after a few weeks, actress Saba Qamar got in touch with him and convinced him to take on the role, along with suggesting that he should speak with the director. After listening to the director and the scriptwriter, Shahzad Noor, Rasheed realized that the script was different and stronger. Rasheed also expressed his skepticism about Noor’s ability to write a drama as a journalist, but after reading the script, he was impressed by its detailing and research.

Rasheed also shared that during the filming of the drama, he was given intense and frightening dialogue to act out, which left him shaken. He requested the director and scriptwriter to tone down the dialogue, but they explained that the questions were the same ones that victims of harassment face and are often asked by police officers. After understanding the context, Rasheed agreed to act out the dialogue, although it was difficult for him personally.
Rasheed also praised Saba Qamar for choosing roles that leave a lasting impact, including the characters of Shaukat and Inspector Shafiq, which both resonated with the audience. He also expressed that he no longer looks at social media in the same way.
