Canada has emphasized that the decision ultimately lies with the Venezuelan people.

France’s President emphasized that the transfer of power in Venezuela should be peaceful and democratic. Canada’s Prime Minister stated that it is the Venezuelan people’s right to decide their own future.
The US Ambassador stated that the US government would not compromise on efforts to prevent narco-terrorism in Venezuela. He added that the US should not be allowed to declare itself the highest authority and intervene in any country.
According to a survey by a news agency, only 33% of Americans support the US operation in Venezuela. Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens Frederik Nielsen stated that Venezuela cannot be compared to Greenland and expressed hope that US-Greenland relations would improve.
The Liberal Democrats have called for a legal opinion on the US operation in Venezuela and emphasized that the silence of the opposition is equivalent to providing Trump with political protection.
