Karachi, Pakistan – The International Cultural Festival organized by the Arts Council of Karachi concluded with a magnificent ceremony, marked by the special attendance of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The festival proved to be a successful platform for highlighting Sindh’s cultural soft power and its ties with the global community.
In addition to the Chief Minister, other notable attendees at the closing ceremony included Provincial Labour Minister Saeed Ghani, CCPO Karachi Javed Alam Odho, and the Consul General of the UAE, Bakheet Ateeq. International artists from several countries, including Bangladesh, South Africa, Italy, Algeria, and Japan, graced the event, adding to the festival’s charm.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah thanked all the participants. He stated: “I am grateful for the visit of international artists to Pakistan. The Arts Council Karachi has organized a truly beautiful festival.”
He highlighted the festival’s success, noting that representatives from more than 140 countries visited the Arts Council Karachi, which underscores the event’s global significance. The Chief Minister emphasized that “Culture is our identity,” and praised the hard work of the Sindh Culture Minister for the splendid organization. The festival successfully elevated Karachi’s profile on the international cultural map.
