Naomie Harris received an encouraging talk from the renowned George Clooney!
The British actress shared how the star of ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ inspired her to create her own application.
In an open conversation with Harper’s Bazaar, Harris explained that she was content with her acting career, even though she had the potential to expand into writing, directing, or producing.
“My agents have often inquired if I’d be interested in pursuing those avenues, but I’ve always felt that acting was my dream and presents a significant enough challenge for me,” she stated.
She then revealed the moment Clooney became a source of inspiration for her, after the ‘Skyfall’ actress was persuaded to take the step of developing her app.
“It’s all thanks to George Clooney – I hold him responsible!” the 48-year-old Hollywood celebrity said with a laugh.
“He came directly to me and spent about an hour discussing how I couldn’t simply remain an actress, how times had evolved, and that I was capable of anything,” she recalled, before concluding, “I’m not sure why he sensed this about me, but he said, ‘I know you have a voice, and I know you’re not using it.'”
