Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir has been criticised for politicising the recent Pahalgam attack by making an irresponsible statement targeting Pakistan.
According to reports, Gambhir stated that “India should not play Pakistan at all,” urging the Indian cricket team to avoid facing Pakistan even at neutral venues. The former cricketer’s comments have been widely seen as an attempt to inject politics into sport under the pretext of the tragic incident in Pahalgam.
