Dua Lipa and Reba McEntire are reportedly becoming close friends, according to the latest buzz from Life & Style.
Intriguingly, Life & Style‘s findings suggest that Reba’s rendition of Dua Lipa’s hit song, “Don’t Start Now,” might have had more behind it than just a simple cover.
“Reba didn’t just decide to cover Dua’s song out of the blue; she’s a huge fan, and they’re actually friends,” a source claimed.
The insider also pointed out, “She has so much respect for Dua’s talent, and she thinks it would be incredibly fun to collaborate with her in some way.”
Hinting at a potential musical collaboration between the two artists, the source told the outlet, “She’s throwing around different ideas, including the possibility of recording a song together.”
It’s probably safe to say that Dua would be thrilled to work on new music with Reba.
In a previous conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple TV’s Carpool Karaoke Christmas, Dua discussed the nuances of studio sound, saying, “That’s the thing about really good speakers in a studio.”
“It makes a lot of things sound amazing, and then you leave the studio, and you’re like, wait a second, this wasn’t exactly how I remember this sounding,” the singer explained.
