ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Gen Nadeem Raza at the Joint Staff Headquarters as part of his ongoing engagement with the armed forces.
Military officials said the two discussed issues pertaining to regional and national security. No statement was issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations on the meeting that reportedly took place on Thursday.
Mr Qureshi has over the past few weeks visited Air and Naval Headquarters. Those visits had taken place ahead of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China. During his meetings at PAF and PN Headquarters, the foreign minister had, among other issues, discussed the planned military acquisitions from China.
