Florence Pugh was visibly moved during the premiere of her film *We Live in Time* at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The 28-year-old actress, who stars alongside Andrew Garfield, found herself in tears as the audience at the Princess of Wales Theatre shared the emotional experience.
In the film, Pugh portrays a character battling stage three ovarian cancer. During the post-premiere Q&A, she expressed her emotional response, saying, “It was so amazing, it was such a pleasure shooting this movie. Watching it… is like life unfolding and we’re all doing it right now.”
Andrew Garfield, 41, also shared his reflections on the film, noting the themes of surrender and trust that resonate throughout. “There were moments tonight that moved me in a way that I hadn’t been moved before,” he remarked. “(It’s about) two people who just want to live.”
*We Live in Time* is scheduled for release on October 11.
