Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a special aid package for the flood-affected residents of Jalalpur Pirwala.
She stated that families who have suffered a loss of life will receive Rs1 million. Those whose homes were completely destroyed will also be granted Rs1 million, while families with partially damaged homes will receive Rs500,000.
In cases of livestock loss, a grant of Rs500,000 will be provided for a large animal and Rs50,000 for a small animal.
Chief Minister’s Visit to Relief Camps
A few days earlier, CM Maryam visited a flood relief camp in Multan and assured the affected individuals of the government’s full support.
During her visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the health, rescue, and other services at the camp. She expressed her satisfaction with the overall arrangements, including the cleanliness.
CM Maryam also visited the Bela relief camp, where she met with women and children, listened to their concerns, and promised to take action for the restoration of their homes.
