Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the foundation stone for a cutting-edge 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad. This initiative, a partnership between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish company, is poised to transform healthcare services for both policemen and the general public.
The NPF has provided the land for the hospital, while the Turkish firm will contribute Rs5 billion to fund the project. Minister Naqvi emphasized that this development not only represents a significant advancement in regional healthcare but also marks a major achievement for the revitalized NPF, led by MD Sabir Ahmed.
Naqvi noted that the funding from this and other NPF projects is dedicated to the welfare of police officers and the families of martyrs. He also mentioned upcoming joint projects with the Capital Development Authority, which are currently in discussion.
Additionally, Naqvi highlighted that the NPF’s efforts extend beyond Islamabad, including the completion of a housing project in Hyderabad and ongoing renovations at the National Police Academy.
