Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Kabul on Sunday for a one-day official visit. He is there to hold discussions with Afghan officials regarding bilateral security cooperation and other matters of mutual interest.
The minister was accompanied by the Interior Secretary and other senior officials from the ministry.
Upon their arrival at Kabul International Airport, the Pakistani delegation was greeted by Afghanistan’s Deputy Interior Minister Maulvi Muhammad Nabi Omari.
Officials anticipate that Mr. Naqvi will meet with key members of the Afghan interim government. Discussions during these meetings are expected to concentrate on cross-border coordination, counter-terrorism measures, and the broader topic of regional peace.
