In a separate, urgent press conference held on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reiterated that Pakistan has no involvement in the attack.
“Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. No cause or objective can justify the taking of innocent lives. This is the national policy, and it is also the Islamic policy. According to the Quran, the killing of a human being is equivalent to the killing of all humanity.”
“And saving a life is equivalent to saving all of humanity. We firmly believe in this. Let me state that the targeting of innocent civilians is certainly condemnable and deplorable. This is occurring in various parts of the world, and we express our views and policies wherever it takes place.”
