Former Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, Rafia Haider, has been appointed as the head of women’s cricket. The appointment was approved by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, after which Rafia Haider assumed her office.
Sources reveal that Rafia Haider joined the PCB on deputation following the resignation of Tania Malik, leaving the position vacant.
Having served as Lahore’s deputy commissioner previously, Rafia Haider has already commenced her responsibilities in the new role. Reportedly, ASP Shehrbano Naqvi was also among the candidates for the position.
