In a statement underlining the resilience of bilateral relations, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie E. Baker highlighted the profound significance of the long-standing security cooperation between the United States and Pakistan. Speaking to the media in Islamabad, she noted that the relationship has gained further strength, particularly during the administration of President Trump.
Natalie Baker focused on the expanding dimensions of cooperation between the two nations, which now encompass trade, investment, technology, and the Information Technology (IT) sector. She praised the establishment of the first permanent building for the US-Pakistan Education Foundation (US-EF) in Pakistan, calling the modern facility a symbol of the enduring educational partnership between the US and Pakistan.
The new structure is designed to be a hub for educational, cultural, and research activities. Baker affirmed that the facility would provide students with seamless access to online books and offer crucial on-site guidance for university admissions in the US and research opportunities.
Furthermore, the American diplomat announced that the new building features a state-of-the-art auditorium for film screenings, cultural programs, and seminars. Specialized training in emerging fields like 3D printing, podcasting, and social media technology will also be available for students, ensuring they are equipped with skills relevant to the global economy.
