French President Emmanuel Macron shared a compilation of AI-generated videos of himself on Instagram ahead of a two-day technology summit in Paris.
In the post, Macron shared a video featuring various clips in which his face was edited using artificial intelligence. The clips, compiled over the years, quickly went viral after the post was shared.
One clip showed the 47-year-old French president dancing to the 1980s hit song “Voyage Voyage” by French singer Desireless. Another clip placed him in a spy comedy film about a French secret agent, played by Jean Dujardin. In another video, he was seen rapping and dancing while channeling French performer Nekfeu.
The post on Instagram was captioned: “Nicely done…” and Macron himself commented, saying: “It’s pretty well done, it made me laugh.”
This playful Instagram post by Macron comes ahead of the AI Action Summit he is set to host on Monday and Tuesday in Paris. The event, co-chaired by India, will be attended by heads of state and government from around the world.
