Sources indicate that a ‘fast friendship’ is blossoming between Ellen Pompeo and Taylor Swift, rooted in their shared “passion for doing good.” Recently, an insider close to the Hollywood actress openly discussed the pair’s feelings regarding their connection.
Despite their differences in age and lifestyle, “that has never been an obstacle to their friendship.”
Referring to the 36-year-old singer’s close relationship with 56-year-old actor Hugh Jackman, the insider stated, “Just look at how close she is to Hugh Jackman — that clearly shows that age isn’t something Taylor really considers a barrier. If she likes someone and they connect, she wants them in her inner circle.”
According to the source, Swift was initially ‘giddy’ upon meeting Pompeo because she is a huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy, but they have now developed a peer-like relationship.
Revealing the 55-year-old actress’ potential inclusion in the songstress’s circle, which includes A-list celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and Sophie Turner, the source continued, “Ellen probably won’t be hitting the party scene with Taylor and the group, but dinner dates with her husband Chris [Ivery] and Travis [Kelce] certainly seem like a possibility.”
“Ellen has a wealth of experience in Hollywood and has really broken down barriers, so there’s no doubt Taylor will want to tap into that knowledge, and who knows? They might even end up collaborating on a project,” they concluded.
