Earthquake tremors, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, were experienced in Chaman, a district in Balochistan situated near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to the earthquake monitoring centre, the seismic activity originated at a depth of 11 kilometers, with its epicenter located 15 kilometers southeast of Chaman.
Authorities have confirmed that there was no reported loss of life or property damage resulting from the earthquake.

Separately on Thursday, light tremors were felt in several areas of Karachi during the early hours of the day, causing momentary panic among residents, although no casualties or damage were reported.
The National Seismological Centre stated that this earthquake occurred at 1:44 am and registered a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was situated in the Malir area, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
