Pristina, Kosovo: Global pop star Dua Lipa penned an emotional note after performing on stage with her father, Dukagjin Lipa, on the first night of the Sunny Hill Festival in their hometown of Pristina. The annual international music festival was founded by the two in 2018.
A Dream Come True: Sharing glimpses from the memorable moment on social media, Lipa wrote, “SUNNY HILL FESTIVAL NIGHT ONE.” She added, “This festival is something my family and I created with so much love for our city PRISHTINA and to see it come to life like this is beyond anything I could’ve dreamed of.”
A Unforgettable Moment: The singer continued, “Sharing this night with you all, in the city that shaped me, surrounded by so much energy, joy, and pride… it’s hard to put into words what it means. Performing for you, and sharing the stage with my dad @dukagjinlipa, was a moment I’ll never forget.”
Love for Her City: Lipa concluded her heartfelt message by saying, “I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful. And we still have two more nights to celebrate together!! JU DUA me krejt zemrën (I love you all with my whole heart).” As part of the three-day festival, Lipa is scheduled to perform for two more nights in the Kosovan city.
