Denzel Washington recently drew attention after being observed lashing out at a photographer.
During the premiere of his film Highest 2 Lowest at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, the acclaimed actor appeared visibly furious with a photographer over an undisclosed incident.
According to new findings by the Daily Mail, a skilled lip reader, Jeremy Freeman, offered his interpretation of the exchange.
Reportedly, the 77-year-old acting icon became frustrated when the photographer tapped him on the arm.
As per the lip reader, when Denzel turned to face the photographer, he was heard saying, “Hey, one — one more time, stop.”
“Let me tell you — stop, stop — never put your hands on me again,” he seemingly told the photographer.
The expert also revealed him saying, “I’m talking to you, stop, all right.”
In response, the photographer reportedly told the Honorary Palme d’Or recipient, “Not allowed” and laughed, adding, “Yes, yes, yes.”
However, the photographer persisted, asking the star, “Can I take a picture?”
Evidently frustrated, Denzel Washington reportedly yelled back, “Stop, stop it, stop it. I mean it. Stop, stop it.”
