Dallas police are asking for the public’s help finding an 11-year-old boy last seen early Thursday in the Mountain Creek area.
Police said Traveon Griffin may be confused and in need of assistance.
Traveon was last seen about midnight in the 5900 block of Naravista Drive, between Belt Line Road and Mountain Creek Parkway. Police said he was last seen in clothing ill-equipped for Thursday’s below-freezing temperatures.
Traveon is described as Black, 4-feet-11-inches and about 70 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and he was last seen wearing white socks, black shorts and no shirt, police said.

Police said the department’s canine and mounted units were assisting with the search Thursday evening. Drones were also being used to search the area, department spokesman Warren Mitchell said.
The family also put up flyers that said Griffin has asthma, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported.
