Dallas police arrested a woman Tuesday in connection with the sexual assault of a child that occurred on New Year’s Day in Far North Dallas.
Keisharene Chanell Santiago, 48, was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, police said. She was detained in the 4800 block of Haverwood Lane without incident, police said.
Police believe Santiago sexually assaulted a child about 5 p.m. Jan. 1 in the 17800 block of Campbell Road, near Preston and Frankford roads.
Santiago did not appear in jail records Tuesday night, and it was unclear whether she had an attorney.
