Dallas: Abid Malik Hosts Dinner Honoring PML-N AJK Leaders, Welcomes Former Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq

Dallas, Texas – A remarkable and memorable event was held for the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Dallas, Texas, where prominent businessman, political and social figure, and former Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Malik Abid Hussain (Abid Malik), hosted a grand dinner at his residence in honor of Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Kashmir and former Senior Minister of the AJK Government.
The special gathering saw a large turnout of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris from across the United States, along with political and social leaders and business personalities. Chaudhry Tariq Farooq received a warm welcome, including floral bouquets on his arrival.
Prominent attendees included Irfan-ul-Hasan Chaudhry, former President PML-N Youth Wing USA and member of the Central Executive Committee AJK; Chaudhry Jahangir Hussain, Chairman PML-N UK; Chaudhry Nadeem Akhtar, President PML-N Ireland; Chaudhry Imran-ul-Haq, Masood Bhatti, Imran Ahmed Chaudhry, Mirza Aziz-ur-Rehman, Fayyaz Ahmed Mirza, Naeem Ahmed and Imran-ul-Haq from Georgia; Sabeel Abbasi, President PML-N Texas; Abid Baig; and Dr. Riaz Haider.
Speaking at the event, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq expressed special gratitude to the host, Malik Abid Hussain, and said such gatherings among the overseas community promote unity and harmony. He emphasized that the PML-N has always been at the forefront of strengthening Pakistan through public service and development projects. He added that overseas Pakistanis, with their hard work and dedication, enhance the dignity and honor of their homeland.
Touching upon the Kashmir issue, Farooq praised the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, stating they have always held their heads high in the struggle for their rights. He highlighted the recent conflict with India, commending Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces, as well as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts. He said Pakistan’s victory in this conflict elevated the nation’s pride worldwide, and for the first time, the Kashmir cause was presented with courage and firmness on a global stage, with Field Marshal Asim Munir playing a key role.
Host Malik Abid Hussain also shared his thoughts, thanking Chaudhry Tariq Farooq for accepting the invitation and visiting Dallas. He stressed that overseas Pakistanis should play an active role not only in Pakistan’s politics but also in U.S. politics to ensure the community’s voice is stronger.
Irfan-ul-Hasan Chaudhry noted that today, overseas communities are the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and politics. He said the role of overseas Pakistanis is crucial and indispensable for the country’s progress.
The event concluded with PML-N leaders and participants reaffirming their commitment to continue the journey of public service, political stability, and development, with overseas Pakistanis playing a central role in this mission. Guests were treated to a variety of flavorful dishes, and the dinner proved to be a memorable occasion for the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Dallas.
