Cristiano dos Santos, the eldest son of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, received his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 squad on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old, who follows in his father’s footsteps by playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has also spent time with Ronaldo’s former clubs, Manchester United and Juventus.
The Selecao Under-15s are set to compete against Japan, Greece, and England at the Vlatko Markovic youth tournament in Croatia, scheduled to take place between May 13th and 18th.
Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer and still a current Portugal international at the age of 40, is a father of five.
The prolific striker was part of the Portugal squad that won Euro 2016, helping his nation lift their first major international trophy, although he was unfortunately forced off with an injury early in the final match against France.
