Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved another monumental milestone in his professional career, scoring his 950th goal and further cementing his status in the debate over the greatest players of all time.
Continuing to defy age, the 40-year-old star reached this historic tally while playing for his club, Al-Nassr, in the Arab League. He scored against Al-Hazem, contributing to a victory for his team.
This achievement solidifies Ronaldo’s position as the leading goal-scorer in the history of professional football.
The latest goal also widens the gap between him and his long-time contemporary, Lionel Messi. The Argentine star, who sits in second place on the all-time list, currently has a career total of 891 goals. This leaves Ronaldo with a commanding 59-goal lead over his closest rival.
