According to police, Faith Bailey and Christian Nwabuisi of Houston, Texas, are facing charges of two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly firing shots at employees of two fast-food restaurants due to dissatisfaction with their orders.
Charging documents allege that the couple shot at employees of the restaurants when they became upset about their orders. On March 2, a Whataburger employee was reportedly shot.
According to reports, Bailey had placed an order through the Whataburger app but failed to park in one of the designated pickup spots. When her order wasn’t brought to her, she reportedly entered the restaurant to confront the employees, demanding her food.
Surveillance footage purportedly shows Bailey engaging in a heated argument with two Whataburger employees before returning to her car. She then allegedly returned to the restaurant with an armed man, believed to be Nwabuisi.
As per the Houston Police Department, Nwabuisi fired a total of nine shots as employees attempted to get them to leave, resulting in a 24-year-old employee being struck in the chest by one of the bullets.
Investigators have linked the couple to another shooting incident on Jan. 27 at a Jack In The Box restaurant on Ella Boulevard at West 18th Street. During this incident, Bailey reportedly argued with employees over extra cheese on her tacos. Despite allegedly receiving the extra cheese, Bailey remained dissatisfied and began arguing with the employees.
Surveillance footage from this incident allegedly shows a man, believed to be Nwabuisi, reaching through the drive-thru window and firing ten shots. Fortunately, no employees were injured during this incident, but Bailey reportedly continued to yell at them and threw items.
Bailey was taken into custody on Thursday evening, and a warrant has been issued for Nwabuisi’s arrest.
