Community Leader and Banker Abu Turab Tariq Passes Away

Dallas, TX: Community leader and renowned banker Wallace State Bank Dallas Texas Regional President Mr,Abu Turab Tariq passed away this afternoon. May his soul rest in peace! He is survived by his wife, Lubna Tariq, and his sons, Omair Tariq and Ali Tariq.
His funeral prayer will be held tomorrow March, 16th on Sunday at the Islamic Center of Frisco after Dhuhr prayers, and he will be laid to rest at Restland Cemetery.
إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Late Abu Turab Tariq was originally from Karachi, Pakistan, where he was associated with the banking sector. After migrating to the United States, he continued his successful career in banking and held prestigious positions, including Vice President at Citi Bank, Forest Bank, and First Bank of Texas.
His passing has left the community in deep sorrow. Prominent community leaders, including Amir Makhani (President, South Asia Democracy Watch), board members Raja Muzaffar Kashmiri and Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, Syed Fayaz Hassan (Democratic Party leader), Aftab Siddiqui (President, Dallas Peace Center), and Pakistan Society’s former president and board trustees Abid Malik, Dr. Riaz Haider, and Hafeez Khan have expressed their heartfelt condolences.
Also Tariq Long time friends and community leaders Shahid Jafri، Like Ali Khan, Religious leader Ghulam Jahangda, Nadeem Zaman (Coordinator, PTI USA), Zahid Rana, Minhaj Bashir (Dallas Press Club), and many others also extended their sympathies, praying for his soul’s eternal peace in Jannah and strength for his family in this difficult time.
