The Champions Trophy 2025 Team of the Tournament has been revealed, with no Pakistani player making the final selection.
The chosen team features six Indian players, four from New Zealand, and two from Afghanistan, recognizing the tournament’s top performers.
New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner has been named captain of the team. India dominates the lineup, with key players such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer securing their spots. New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra and Matt Henry were also included due to their impactful performances.
From Afghanistan, Ibrahim Zadran and Azmatullah Umarzai earned their places through their exceptional contributions. India’s Mohammed Shami and Varun Chakraborty, along with New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips, also made the final squad.
Additionally, India’s Axar Patel has been named as the 12th player of the team.
