Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Lt Gen (R) Nazeer Ahmed handed over documents related to the recovery of government land to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The meeting between the NAB Chairman and the Chief Minister was held in Karachi, where they reiterated their joint efforts to recover government land. NAB Chairman Lt Gen (R) Nazeer Ahmed said that Karachi can clear all of Pakistan’s debts. According to a press statement from the Chief Minister’s House, the NAB Chairman presented a report related to the recovery of government land and documents related to the return of land to the Sindh government during the meeting. In his briefing, it was stated that NAB has completed the investigation of 188 cases related to government land, and after investigation, the mafia’s occupation of more than 461,000 acres of land has been recovered. The briefing further stated that the recovered land includes 635 acres of Avicennial land, 350 acres of sea land in Clifton Block One and Two, and 400,000 acres of forest land in Saawal and Thatta. In Jamshoro, after canceling 83 fake revenue entries, 140 acres of land were recovered. The Chief Minister thanked NAB for returning public assets and instructed the immediate approval of summaries related to forest and mangrove land. A joint statement was issued by the Justice Committee chaired by Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Sardar Raza Khan. The court order stated that the applicant’s grandson had taken the car without their permission, and the unfortunate incident occurred.
