LAHORE, Pakistan—Pakistan’s renowned writer, director, and producer, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, known for his unfiltered opinions and super-hit drama serials, has shared his personal preference among Bollywood’s “Three Khans” (Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan). While he named his favorites, he also clarified his stance on working with them professionally.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, who has delivered numerous successful projects to the Pakistani entertainment industry, stated that he holds a higher regard for Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, although he acknowledges all three as good artists.
Reluctance to Write
During the discussion, the writer made an interesting distinction regarding his professional aspirations. He expressed that he is not keen to work as a writer for any of the three Khans. Instead, Qamar stated that if joint Pakistan-India productions ever become feasible in the future, he would like to collaborate with them as a producer, but sees no possibility of that happening currently.
Qamar, who has been openly vocal about his opinions on various personalities, including past public disagreements with Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz, maintains a position that reflects his strong personality and firm commitment to working on his own terms, prioritizing creative control over mere association with mega-stars.
