All seven members of the global sensation BTS have now officially reunited! This exciting development comes as band member Suga, also known by his solo alias August D, has been officially discharged from his mandatory military service.
Big Hit Music, the renowned management agency representing BTS, confirmed on Wednesday that the Korean rapper successfully completed his alternative service duties after utilizing his remaining leave.
The agency’s official statement read: “No special events are planned on the day of Suga’s discharge. Overcrowding can pose safety risks, and we sincerely request our fans not to visit the sites in person. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts.” The notice further stated, “We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for Suga. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting our artists.”
While six of the other BTS members – Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Kim Namjoon, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyun, and Jeon Jungkook – fulfilled South Korea’s active military service, Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi, undertook an alternative form of military service as a social service agent. Reports indicate that BTS Suga reportedly opted for this alternative due to a shoulder injury he had sustained prior to his enlistment.
