BTS has just unveiled the exciting news of their first-ever live album! Titled “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE,” the album will be available for pre-order starting July 1, and will include a digital code for “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL” upon its July 18 release.
The K-pop icons’ “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” series initially launched in October 2021 with an online concert. It quickly became a global sensation, connecting the band’s vast fanbase, known as ARMYs, with BTS both in-person and virtually. This extensive tour featured a total of 12 shows spanning Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Combined, these events garnered over four million attendees and viewers, counting both in-person (LIVE PLAY) participants and online (LIVE VIEWING) joiners.
Scheduled for release on July 18, “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” by BTS will feature 22 distinct tracks performed by the “Fire” hitmakers during their tour. This includes international chart-toppers like their collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on “Butter” and their partnership with Halsey on “Boy With Luv.” This album also marks the first time the band has released new material together since all seven members—Kim Seokjin (Jin), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Min Yoongi (Suga), Kim Namjoon (RM), Park Jimin (Jimin), Kim Taehyung (V), and Jeon Jungkook (JK)—took a hiatus from music to fulfill their mandatory South Korean military service.
