Gaza Strip – Amidst the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the Ministry of Health has revealed that Israeli military violations following the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the martyrdom of 373 Palestinians and injuries to 970 people. These devastating figures emerge at a time when hopes for sustainable peace are fading.
According to the statistics released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli assaults over the last two years has tragically reached 70,360. This data highlights the immense human cost of the prolonged violence and conflict in the region.
The Ministry further detailed that since the attacks began in October 2023, a staggering 171,047 Palestinians have been injured, placing immense pressure on hospitals and medical personnel.
Despite the ceasefire, the state of medical facilities in Gaza remains critical. The report indicates that 52% of essential medicines and 70% of laboratory services are still unavailable, making treatment for the injured and ordinary patients increasingly difficult. This situation is a grim testament to the continuous neglect of human rights and medical necessities even during periods of supposed calm.
