Bruno Tonioli, known for his vibrant judging on Strictly Come Dancing and more recently Britain’s Got Talent, has reportedly “quit” the ITV show after two seasons. According to The Sun, boxing star and singer KSI is already in talks to potentially fill his seat alongside existing judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden.
Tonioli, 69, joined BGT in 2023 following David Walliams’ exit. A source told the publication, “Bruno has officially quit Britain’s Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.”
The insider clarified that Tonioli’s departure is due to scheduling conflicts, not internal strife. “He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden but Bruno just can’t juggle his schedule with filming,” the source explained, adding, “There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face.”
The news follows KSI’s prior appearance as a guest judge on BGT, which had already sparked speculation among fans and the audience about him becoming a permanent fixture. Tonioli himself seemed encouraging of the idea at the time, humorously remarking, “We’re both young, attractive, multi-talented stars known the world over.” He added, “Joking aside, I think KSI is fantastic — a real charming man full of energy. We attended the BRITs together too, which was a fabulous evening.”
