Brooklyn Beckham offered a touching tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz’s late grandmother this Friday, on the first anniversary of her passing.
Nicola’s grandmother, Bunny—who served as Nicola’s maid of honor at her wedding to Brooklyn in 2022—passed away last May at the age of 95.
The tribute from the eldest son of retired footballer David Beckham and designer Victoria Beckham, who has reportedly had a strained relationship with his family since 2024, comes amidst these rumors.
Sharing photos of himself with Bunny on Instagram, Brooklyn conveyed his deep sadness at the thought that his future children would not have the opportunity to know her.
He began his message, “Can’t believe it’s been a year without you naunni x you were always so happy and always made me laugh. I miss you and will love you forever x.”
“It makes me so sad to think of our future kids not being able to know you x you were one of a kind and we miss you everyday.”
Nicola also penned an emotional message on the first anniversary of her grandmother’s death, sharing photos of herself and Brooklyn smiling alongside her beloved “naunni.”
“I can’t believe it’s been a whole year without my naunni on earth. I miss her laugh so much,” she wrote.
“I miss her happiness, her love, her everything. Her magic runs though my mom and I’m so lucky to know the feeling of that love.”
“I am so lucky she was my naunni – I miss her every single second. Life is not as bright without her here.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s absence from recent close family gatherings, despite traveling to attend his father David’s 50th birthday, has reportedly left his parents “devastated.”
Brooklyn also remained silent on social media on both his father’s 50th birthday and his mother’s 51st birthday.
David and Victoria are also reportedly feeling “blindsided” by Brooklyn’s burgeoning friendship with their former acquaintances, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
