According to reports, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly forged a closer bond with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, owing to “fallouts” with their respective in-laws. As per The Mail, Brooklyn and Nicola have enlisted the services of the same lawyer as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to assist them with “reputation management.”
Last week, Jenny Afia, the British solicitor for Schillings law firm, was approached by the couple who are reportedly at odds with Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham. It could be safely assumed that this suggestion came from the former royal couple, as it follows Meghan and Harry’s meeting with Brooklyn and Nicola at a party in Montecito, California.
Reportedly, Ms. Afia’s hiring has caused “much amusement” within the Beckham family, especially after their own fallout with Harry and Meghan some years ago when the Sussexes accused Victoria and David of leaking stories. A source closely observing the Nicola and Brooklyn’s feud with the in-laws told MoS: “You couldn’t really make it up, first Brooklyn and Nicola cozy up together and realize they have quite a lot in common, and then all of a sudden they have enlisted the help of the Sussexes’ long-serving lawyer.”
The source continued, “Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up of stories running they don’t like. Nicola likes to control everything and they have taken this rather drastic action.” The insider added, “For the Beckhams, the irony isn’t lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories – they were furious and Brooklyn knows that.” They claimed of Nicola and Brooklyn’s bond with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, “The two couples are very close indeed.”
For those unaware, the feud between Brooklyn and Nicola and the Beckhams began in the aftermath of Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding in April 2022 and resurfaced during David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year, which Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend despite being in London at the time.
