British-Pakistani businessman Aqib Hasaan has announced his sponsorship of boxer Muhammad Waseem for his upcoming eight fights.
Boxer Muhammad Waseem met with Aqib Hassan in London, where the partnership was officially announced.
Hasaan stated that the partnership extends beyond mere sponsorship, as “it reflects shared values of resilience, ambition, and a mutual belief in building a stronger future for Pakistanis both domestically and internationally.”
Hasaan elaborated: “Waseem’s journey, spanning 26 years and encompassing over 300 fights, exemplifies the dedication and perseverance that the Dream Beyond platform is designed to highlight and support. Dream Beyond initially launched with Enaam Ahmed, a British-Pakistani motorsport sensation, and now expands its support to Muhammad Waseem — further solidifying our commitment to celebrating Pakistani excellence on the global stage.”
He further added: “The Quetta fight has garnered significant international interest, attracting fighters from the UK and USA, alongside support from boxing legends such as Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. The collaboration between Muhammad Waseem and us stems from a long-standing personal connection, underscoring our genuine ties to community support. Waseem deserves our full support, and I urge other businesses to come forward and support talents like Muhammad Waseem.”
The boxer from Quetta expressed his gratitude for the support, saying: “This is much-needed support for me at this crucial juncture in my professional career. I have competed in over 300 fights, including more than 15 professional fights at the world level. This support means a great deal to me.”
