HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A boy is dead following a shooting at an apartment complex in northeast Houston, according to police.
Wednesday night, the Houston Police Department shared the shooting happened at about 8:20 p.m. at 6869 Arto St. near Hardy Street.
Police’s preliminary information states the boy was shot when young relatives were playing with the gun, HPD said.
After the shooting, another man turned the gun on himself. He was taken to the hospital but his condition is not known.
