In an unexpected crossover, Microsoft founder and global philanthropist Bill Gates is set to appear on Indian television, not for an interview, but in the popular drama series ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’.
According to Indian media, a new promo released this week stunned viewers. The clip shows Bill Gates engaging in a video call with the show’s iconic central character, Tulsi Virani, played by Smriti Irani.
During their brief interaction, Tulsi welcomes him in her signature style, saying, “It feels wonderful to know you are connecting with my family straight from America. We are all eagerly waiting for you.”
This cameo, however, serves a greater purpose than just entertainment. A caption accompanying the post revealed that Bill Gates’s appearance is part of a dedicated campaign to raise awareness about mother and child health.
