Beyonce and Jay-Z were initially named in a lawsuit filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to PEOPLE, a man alleged that the disgraced music mogul committed sexual assault against him in 2015, with Beyonce and Jay-Z present at the time.
However, the power couple’s names have now been dropped from the legal action.
The accuser, Joseph Manzaro, has filed an amended complaint, clearly indicating the removal of the iconic singers’ names.
In his original complaint, Manzaro stated that he was drugged and taken to a residence on Miami’s Star Island, owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, for Combs’ son Christian’s birthday celebration in April 2015.
Manzaro claimed that Gloria witnessed him in a “deteriorating state” and asked someone to call an ambulance, before Emilio allegedly ushered her away.
However, Page Six has revealed that lawyers for Jay-Z and Beyonce have provided evidence confirming the couple’s absence from the event.
A 2015 New York University newspaper reported Jay-Z making an appearance at the college, and shortly thereafter, he departed for a vacation in Hawaii with his wife, as evidenced by photos published by The Daily Mail.
